Vinyl flooring, also known as lino, is a popular flooring solution for many kitchens and bathrooms; has the benefits of countless great design choice, long lasting durability, being super easy to clean and maintain, and the safety of being non-slip which is essential in environments where water is commonplace. Vinyl flooring offers all of these great features while being a fraction of the price of block wood or tiled flooring alternatives.

Our vinyl flooring is available with a range of backing options, including foam backed and felt backed. And in a number of colour, pattern and design options, including wood and tile effect designs.

At World Wide Carpets, we stock a number of different types of vinyl flooring, including Anti-Slip, Cushioned and Luxury, each with their own benefits and preferred uses. We have a large selection of designs and prices and stock all the major vinyl flooring brands, including Amtico, Camaro, and Vusta.

Anti-slip vinyl flooring is the perfect choice for bathrooms and kitchens; it has the benefit of, as with most vinyls, looking good and being easy to clean but is also much safer to use in environments where water, and other, liquids could pose a slippage hazard.

The most popular types of vinyl flooring are:

Cushioned Vinyl Flooring

When you are looking to replace flooring in your kitchen or bathroom cushioned vinyl or linoleum is a good choice.

They are easy to clean and hard wearing, making them a viable option for not only wet areas but also any room. All our cushioned vinyls are R10 Anti-Slip rated and we have a vast selection of books to choose from or indeed find a suitable vinyl in our “end of roll” section.

Luxury Vinyl Flooring

We stock these and much more, from the highest quality luxury vinyl with a nearly limitless amount of designs and features. From stone tile to a wood plank in varying widths and lengths. We can help you choose the right product for your environment. World Wide Carpets is an authorised Amtico retailer and as such, all our staff is Amtico trained.

Underlay

After choosing your pattern or design, we would recommend that you take a moment to consider underlay options. Although vinyl and laminate flooring can be applied directly to the ground, or on top of the current flooring, investing in an underlay will vastly improve the performance of your vinyl flooring. As well as making it feel nicer underfloor, it offers benefits in soundproofing (essential to reduce the noise of people in upstairs rooms), it will increase the durability of the flooring, meaning that it will last much longer.
